London on my mind....
A long time ago someone asked me that if there would be a day in which racism did not exist. As a black women I know how long and deep hate can go, and my answer was absolutely not. The person who asked the question did not like my answer.The reason behind my answer was because there will always be someone in this world who feels that they can dominate another by fear or violence. Unless this world is truly united regardless of race, creed, or religion, racism, hate crimes, and terrorism will still exist.
My heart goes out to the victims in the attacks in London today. Its hard to put into words what I'm feeling today about this whole situation. I'm just happy that the death toll is not very high. It could have been a whole lot worse. The UK is a strong country, and they have dealt with this in the past. I know they will overcome.
